MAYAK EGGS (Koran Soy Marinated Soft Boiled Eggs)

I am obsessed with this amazing Korean egg recipe called ‘Mayak Eggs”. As the name Mayak describes it is addictively good.. which is true.

Ingredient:

6 eggs
1/2 Onion
1 Green Onion
3 clove garlic
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon dried red pepper slices

Direction:

1) Mince garlic, onion and green onion.
2) Make marinade. Mix water, soy sauce, sugar sesame seeds, dried red pepper slices and chopped vegetables.
3) Boil cold eggs for 6 minutes. (Add vinegar and salt to the boiling water. It prevents from the shells from cracking.)
3) Shock the cooked eggs in the ice water and chill. It makes the eggs easier to peel.
4) Peel all the eggs and add the marinade. Let it marinate in the fridge over night or 24 hours.
5) Serve with chopped vegetables in the marinade.
